In the spring of 2000 we were informed by an engineer that the FCC was opening a filing window for new Low Power FM radio stations. We went ahead and filed the application and waited. The weeks turned into months and the months turned into years. Needless to say we were very surprised when the construction permit showed up in the mail in May of 2004! Four years after we had filed! We had 18 months to build the station. After 3 months of prayerful research we decided to go ahead with the project. We spent an additional 9 months building and programming the station and went on the air in May of 2005. Looking back on the whole project we saw how God brought just the right people for just the right time. Our prayer is that this station will provide our community with quality Christian teaching and music, as well as serve the need for locally relevant community happenings.
